We offer simple website solutions for those who don’t need extra features. We provide the layout, and you can edit the content as needed. The only thing that you need to know is a bit of simple HTML formatting.

Software

We’re experienced in many content management systems and software. We can install, configure, and extend these systems to your need. Usually, you need to have some knowledge of these systems in order to operate them. Please do some research before deciding on what system to use. If you need help deciding, just contact us with a description of the purpose and functions of your site. However, unless you need a high degree of user interactivity, a simple website is the best route.

We’re familiar with these systems:

• Joomla!, a content management system.
• Drupal, another content management system.
• MediaWiki, the same software used on Wikipedia. Complicated and requires significant training.
• Wordpress, the Blogging software. Very easy to use.
• phpBB3, the bullitin board, or forum software. Moderate complexity.

Web-Based Store

We can help you setup your web based store. We use software that is easy to manage, and training is included. It will be easy to track and process orders. We don’t use any software that requires monthly payments, so once this site is setup it is free to run, with the exception of hosting.

Rich Internet Applications

Dynamic HTML, AJAX, and Flash are all possibilities for your site. We use open-source Javascript frameworks to ensure maximum flexibility and compatibility. These types of features are much more complicated, and come at a significant price. However, nothing will catch the eye of viewers more than a well-made, useful RIA.

Search Engine Optimization

We can take care of the complicated procedures involved in submitting your site to search engines. Search engines help to connect you to potential customers or viewers. We can create XML sitemaps, and handle robot.txt files. We offer this service on all of our own sites, as well as any existing ones you want to upgrade. With our help, you can see your site in search results on Google, Yahoo, MSN, and more. Be sure to specify which search engines you want to index your site when you request a quote.

Compliance and Compatibility

We ensure compliance in Internet Explorer and Firefox. For additional web compliance (WC3) and additional browser support, there are additional charges. Please specify what degree of compliance and compatibility you would like when you request a quote.

Security and Backup

In all custom applications, we take security very seriously, sanitizing forms to protect against SQL injection and similar techniques. We also use one-way encryption for passwords, ensuring the protection of you sensitive information. We can help setup periodic backups of both files and databases in the case of a security breach or technical failure.

Web Based Proxy Servers

Want anonymous browsing or a way to circumnavigate web filtering? We can setup a web based proxy for you. They are maintenance free and are a great place for advertising, either for your company or though a ad service provider.

Mobile Support

Currently, we do not offer custom alternative versions of websites for mobile devices (phones, PDAs). Often, content management systems are able to do that automatically, but for the time being, we are unable to offer this service ourselves.
